2025 INFORMATION:
The Kayitz (Summer) 2025 season will open on Monday, June 23 and close on Friday, August 8. We offer various program options to children currently in Pre-K (PK4) through 6th grade.
In 2025, the classic Ramah Day Camp program will run for three two-week sessions and a final one-week session. (Session dates appear in the table below.) Families may register their child(ren) for a single session or any combination of sessions. Of course, we love when families take advantage of our full summer discount and enroll their child(ren) for all 7 weeks! This program is open to current Pre-K (PK4) through 4th grade students.
Our Sha’ar Hebrew immersion program, however, is a seven-week program for campers currently in Pre-K (PK4) through 1st grade since consistency is the foundation of an immersion experience. More information about the Sha’ar Hebrew immersion program can be found here.
The BIG IDEA at Ramah Day Camp, our technology-based program track, is back for 2025 and will be offered to more age groups this summer! Children currently in 3rd-6th grades may attend one, two or all three sessions. More information on the BIG IDEA program can be found here. Three 2-week sessions are available to different age ranges:
- Session A (June 23-July 3) is open to 1st – 6th graders,
- Session B (July 7-18) is open to 3rd – 6th graders, and
- Session C (July 21-August 1) is open to Pre-K and Kindergarteners, and 3rd-6th graders.
Bus transportation from centralized locations in the area is included in camp fees. Please contact us if you have any questions about your summer dates.
A Note to Federal Government Workers & Contractors
We know that the recent changes to federal funding and the federal workforce have affected many families in our Ramah community. We understand this is a very difficult time and want you to know that you are not alone. Our camp community stands together not just in the summer, but all year long. If your family has been impacted (or you fear you may be impacted in the near future), please know that we want to support you however we can. Please be in touch with Rabbi Jill or Sharon should you have any new support needs. In addition, we want to make sure you about the existing JCaring community resource at JSSA.
Program Options – Dates & Rates
Please Note: Many of our sessions are already at capacity in our Classic and Sha’ar program tracks. We encourage families interested in Ramah to register their child(ren). If a waitlist exists, your child will automatically be added and no deposit will be charged for that session(s).
