Exciting Staff Announcements
Ramah Day Camp Greater DC is delighted to announce two exciting staff updates:
NEW DIRECTOR OF SHA’AR HEBREW IMMERSION PROGRAM
Linor Shemesh, Registrar & Program Coordinator, is now with Ramah FULL TIME! Part of her new year-round responsibilities includes being the Director of our Sha’ar Hebrew Immersion program. We believe she is perfect for this role given that she is fluent in Hebrew, has a degree in education, is great with children, and knows and loves camp. We are thrilled for the energy she will bring to this program!

NEW TIKVAH DIRECTOR
We are so grateful to Elisheva Layman for serving as our Tikvah Director these past three years. Elisheva has stepped down from this role as she has moved to White Plains, NY, and is engaged to be married this coming summer. We are thrilled that Mira Tash was able to step into this role and officially started on December 1st. Mira has spent three summers at RDC, first as an inclusion counselor and then twice as a Rosh Edah and Yoetzet. She has a Bachelor of Science in special education and a Master’s Degree in special education. She currently works as a teacher in the MCPS autism program at Wood Middle School.
